Because there's no humiliation like public humiliation, I'm posting up my very first, sort of working Perl script.
The idea is to take an exported CSV file from Thinking Rock, run it through the Perl script, and then create a brand new database to upload to the Palm. There's no real point in "syncing" with Thinking rock, because it's in a Java XML file, and having a different program accessing the XML file is too risky (IMHO). Should I actually find a working Java library that can sync with the Palm, I might install NetBeans and take a shot at it.
The code is posted below the cut for your amusement. You should be thankful that I'm not a coder, because it's ugly. I mean, really ugly. It's so ugly, that it makes baby Jesus cry. It's so ugly... (ADD YOUR COMMENT ON HOW UGLY IT IS)
